Creating an edge detection effect was a bit of a pain. But thanks to blender having its advantages in it's mesh modifiers, it made life alot easier. After version 2.59, blender had the ability to reverse normals on a mesh with fill modifiers and as well as using negative values in the fill thickness options. The scary part of using an updated version of blender is the possibility of not using unsupported UDK export scripts. But, hey we gotta at least try, and cause of that attitude I was able to get this affect to work on mobile. Now, I gotta watch out for the polygon count and not bust my Ipad 4's limit. Good news I'm still @ 45-60 fps even when mobs use ragdoll physics. Now I'm going figure out a proper way to record directing from the Ipad device and host demo videos on an appropriate site (probably vimeo or something that doesn't play annoying ads).
